I have the pleasure to send you this short report on the II European Forum of Traditional Sports and Games. Once again it has been a very special event that has allowed the European and worldwide visibility of AEJEST in general and of the participating organisations in particular. Many thanks and congratulations to the organising committee (members of AEJeST and members of the INEFC motor action research group); many thanks and congratulations to the 14 speakers; many thanks to the 160 registered participants from 32 countries; many thanks and congratulations to AEJeST.

Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027)

It seems that April is a very special month for AEJeST. TODAY we have experienced a historic event since FOR THE FIRST TIME AEJeST has been the ONLY European organization invited by the European Commission (Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture) that has participated as a SPEAKER in the second European online seminar. This time the theme was The New Erasmus + Program (2021-2027), Challenges and Opportunities For The Traditional Sports And Games’ Online Meeting.

Last January 15th and 16th The European Association of Traditional Sports and Games (AEJeST), in collaboration with the Institut Nacional d´Educació Física de Catalunya (INEFC) organized the 1st European Forum of Traditional Games and Sports.
The forum had a huge impact with 150 registered participants from 37 countries on four continents, in addition to the presence of important representatives of International cultural institutions such as the head of the Directorate General of Education, Youth and Sport of the Commission Europe, Mr. Yves Le Lostecque, or the Director of Social Policy and Programs of UNESCO, Ms. Ângela Melo, who was accompanied at the opening session of the Forum by the Director of INEFC, Mr. Eduard Inglés.

Dear colleagues: people representing organizations, coaches, players, students, teachers, researchers, volunteers … interested in traditional sports and games.
We already have a date for the 1st European Forum of Traditional Games and Sports organized by the European Association with the cooperation of National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia (INEFC). This Forum will be developed: Friday 15 (afternoon) and Saturday 16 (morning) January 2021.
