Dear AEJeST/ETSGA Family,
I have the pleasure to send you this short report on the II European Forum of Traditional Sports and Games. Once again it has been a very special event that has allowed the European and worldwide visibility of AEJEST in general and of the participating organisations in particular. Many thanks and congratulations to the organising committee (members of AEJeST and members of the INEFC motor action research group); many thanks and congratulations to the 14 speakers; many thanks to the 160 registered participants from 32 countries; many thanks and congratulations to AEJeST.

The Organising Committee (AEJeST + INEFC) has already confirmed the 14 associations that will participate on 14 and 15 May 2021 in the 2nd European Forum of Traditional Games and Sports.
It has also confirmed the participation, on the opening day, of Mr. Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, President World Ethnosport Confederation y M. Joseph Rashidi Salumu, President African Association of Games and Traditional Sports.
He will be joined by Dr. Pere Lavega (President of AEJeST) and Dr. Eduard Inglés (Director of INEFC) to open the meeting.

Last January 15th and 16th The European Association of Traditional Sports and Games (AEJeST), in collaboration with the Institut Nacional d´Educació Física de Catalunya (INEFC) organized the 1st European Forum of Traditional Games and Sports.
The forum had a huge impact with 150 registered participants from 37 countries on four continents, in addition to the presence of important representatives of International cultural institutions such as the head of the Directorate General of Education, Youth and Sport of the Commission Europe, Mr. Yves Le Lostecque, or the Director of Social Policy and Programs of UNESCO, Ms. Ângela Melo, who was accompanied at the opening session of the Forum by the Director of INEFC, Mr. Eduard Inglés.Read more
