Le jeu traditionnel aujourd’hui / El juego tradicional hoy is the collective book that collects the contributions presented at the Congress “Traditional games today: vigilance, projection and social utility”.
The work, directed by Carlos Suari and co-edited by the Asociación del Bolo Vaqueiro and the Sociedá Etnomotora Asturiana, is divided into four main parts (approximation, teaching, institutionalization and heritage) and ends with a memory of the activities held at the aforementioned congress, held in Cangas del Narcea (Asturias) in March 2019.

Book “Traditional Wrestling – Our Culture”

The ERASMUS + project TRADWOC finished in the month of June. This project had for objective to create transregional networks in order to saveguard and promote traditional wrestling styles as elements of the intangible heritage of Europe.

Associazione Giochi Antichi talks about traditional games also in some magazines! In 2014, in Ludica, AGA talked about the game of Salto del Pastor, played at the Canary Islands… now it’s happy to announce a second publication about the scottish Bà Game!
The publications have been published in collaboration with Ludica: an annual magazine of game, published by Fondazione Benetton Studi Ricerche – Viella. They’re part of the monographic collection “Playing in the sixteenth century: the century of Veronese / Games in the 1500s: the century of Veronese” of 2014 and “Jeux éducatifs et savoirs ludiques dans l’Europe médiévale / Educational games and Ludic Knowledge in Medieval Europe” of 2017.
